ART & PEOPLE
front COCO & CHANEL SAINT-TROPEZ, FRANCE / 22TH JUNE 2017

This is going to be by far my most beautiful blogpost yet!

On my way from Nice airport to Saint-Tropez this May I met Tisa Sencur, a photographer who was on her way to Sainte-Maxime.

We had a great trip and fun lay-over in Saint-Raphael together, kept in touch and decided to do a blogpost together!

With this blog I am trying to include art a little into my age group's lives next to the online fashion/lifestyle focus, but...

A trip to the gorgeous CHANEL summer pop-up store is the ultimate art-exception I think!

Hi there!! Follow me from Brooklyn, via the Bridge, into Manhattan!

One more time, in honour of the opening day of our brand new TEFAF New York Spring 2017 fair, another New York City post :)

A bit smaller than normal I think and without too big of an art focus, eventhough pieces of architectural design like these definitely do count!

So, let me take you into Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where I had brunch and was shown around by a very inspiring old friend from Uni...

I enjoyed it to the fullest with lunches, city strolls and exciting Museum (rooftop) visits!

NEW YORK FROM FALL TO SPRING NEW YORK CITY, USA / 04TH APRIL 2017 front

So these images are from six months ago when I was in New York for a month of great, great fun, lots to learn and our TEFAF Fall fair.

Now is the perfect time to share! The weather here is starting to get just as sunny as it was back there during the Indian Summer so thats a first match.

Also, our next New York fair, the Spring edition, is coming up! In exactly one month we will have our very first Modern Art focussed TEFAF fair in the Armory (4-8th May 2017).

I wanted to go post blogs again anyway so starting with this beautifully sunny New York adventure seemed only right!

Via a sunny harbour lunch cruise and a rushed guided tour in German I will show & tell you all about it.

TRUE BLUE TO PALACE VISITS APELDOORN, THE NETHERLANDS / 14TH SEPTEMBER 2016 front

Last weekend I posted about my Palace Noordeinde tour in The Hague in July.

But July is already months away and since summer finally comes around in September this year, I planned another sunny palace visit with my favourite Arthistorian Emma!

'Paleis het Loo' as the Dutch name goes, is showcasing blue Delftware vases in their dreamy garden.

The perfect occasion for us to dress up and pop over to Apeldoorn.

Last weekend I visited Amsterdam for a stroll through the Rijksmuseum, a bit more strolling (not so much buying) along the PC Hooftstraat and dinner with a good friend.

I still had to go meet Rembrandt's Marten and Oopjen in the Gallery of Honour for the first time!

What to do when you want to go meet the new, ultimate highlights of the museum and you want to have them to yourself as much as possible?

Go in at the final visiting hour (16-17h) and especially save your Gallery of Honour visit for the last 30 minutes or so.
